This is a scanned image of Jaxon sitting on Santa's lap. Jared and I took him to meet Santa Friday evening at the Capital City Mall. We waited in line for like 25 minutes, but it was worth it. Jaxon was curious at first, but he didn't cry. The photographer couldn't get him to smile, but his Momma did! What a cute pic!

It's snowing!!!!
Brrrr. It's cold outside! Don't worry, we only dressed Jax up long enough to take a picture for his first official snowfall. He thought it was sooooo cool as you can tell from the pics...

Music Man
Jaxon was learning to play the guitar this weekend when staying with his Grandma and Grandpa Smith. His uncle Brandon was teaching him the ropes of guitar playing.

"Rollin', rollin', rollin' on a ....."
This is from some time ago, like a month actually...but I wanted to edit it with the song exactly at the chorus and I just figured out how to. I will have to put a more recent version on here now though because he isn't wobbly anymore. He is professional now, what a difference a month can make! Stay tuned for an updated video!

1st Haircut!!!!!
So....after a lot of contemplation, I decided to cut Jaxon's hair. It was necessary...It was like 8 inches long on top! (see below) Plus with the curls, it was getting knotted all the time. I debated taking him to a hair salon, but I am so picky and I didn't want them to mess it up or cut it too short, so I figured I would do it myself. At least then, if I messed it up, I could only be upset with myself. Luckily it turned out great! He looks so handsome, but more grown up now.
The Before
"The ponytail"- He would make the cutest little girl!
During the cut, JAXON was excellent! He was very patient, as long as he was occupied...

JAX-O-Lantern
This is one of my latest creations....I've been wanted to carve it and since Jared has never carved one himself nor seen how you do it, I decided it was a great Sunday afternoon activity. It turned out pretty cool I think, check it out! Here are some pics in the daylight as well as in the dark...

He's a star! (well sort of...)
Jaxon participated in a Future Star event today at the Capital City Mall. He was 1st runner up in the 0-23 month category and he won best hair as well. So we came home with two trophies which, as you can tell, he thought were pretty cool! He also qualified for the state finals to be held in May '08 right here in Harrisburg! His $300 entry fee will be paid since he qualified for states. There will also be talent and advertising agencies at the state level so we'll see! Here are some pics from the festivities today.
Since we have such a beautiful family (I'm not bragging or anythin, lol!) Jaxon's cousins (Morgan and Ravyn) were in the competition in different age categories as well. They both qualified as runner's up as well and they both took the award for BEST Eyes (as you can see)...We'll see you at states guys!

Fall Ball
Austin is playing fall ball this year for Dillsburg instead of football. We attended one of his games recently and had a good time watching him. Jaxon mostly enjoyed roaming around on the ground and his ice cream, but it was fun! Here are some highlights!
By the end of the 3 hour game he was all played out and enjoyed a nap in his stroller!
